The Fedora Join Special Interest Group (SIG) aims to set up and maintain channels that let prospective contributors engage with the community. The idea here is to enable people looking to join the Fedora community to converse with existing members, make friends, find mentors, and get a feeling of what and how the community does in general, with a view to reducing the learning curve that joining a new community entails – and make it more enjoyable!

Skupina zvláštního zájmu (SIG) Fedora Join se zaměřuje na nastavení a údržbu kanálů, které případným přispěvatelům usnadňují stát se součástí komunity. Základní myšlenkou je umožnit lidem, kteří se poohlíží po způsobu, jak se zapojit do komunity Fedory, dostat se do bližšího kontaktu se současnými členy, vytvořit si přátele, nalézt si mentora a získat první představu o tom, co a jak komunita obecně dělá; s cílem snížit čas potřebný k učení, který je obvykle k zapojení v rámci nové komunity potřeba---a užít si ho!
