Cinnamon is a Linux desktop which provides advanced innovative features and a traditional user experience. The desktop layout is similar to Gnome 2. The underlying technology is forked from Gnome Shell. The emphasis is put on making users feel at home and providing them with an easy to use and comfortable desktop experience.
Цимет је радно окружење за Линукс које пружа напредне и иновативне могућности уз традиционално корисничко искуство. Распоред екрана је сличан Гному 2. Основна технологија је форкована од Гном Шела. Нагласак је на томе да се корисници осећају као код куће и пружању искуства лакоће употребе и удобности.

Цимет је популарно радно окружење алтернативно Гмону 3 и овај спин пружа опцију да брзо испробате и инсталирате ово радно окружење.
