The table below shows examples of words with their pitch accent pattern. See how some words can have different meanings only due to their accent! On top of the table is the number you will find in search results, each row has words of the same mora count. “0” always represents a heiban word, “1” is always an atamadaka word, other numbers can represent nakadaka or odaka, depending on where the downstep occurs. Note that the number records the position of the downstep, as there can only be one downstep in a word.
Таблица ниже показывает примеры слов с их моделью тонального акцента. Посмотрите, как некоторые слова могут иметь разные значения только из-за своего акцента! Над таблицей указано число, которое вы найдёте в результатах поиска. В каждой строке собраны слова с одинаковым количеством мор. «0» всегда обозначает слово хэйбан, «1» всегда — слово атамадака, другие числа могут обозначать накадака или одака, в зависимости от того, где происходит понижение. Обратите внимание, что число фиксирует позицию понижения, так как в слове может быть только одно понижение.
