[#:log (current-output-port)] [#:follow-symlinks? #f] @ [#:copy-file copy-file] [#:keep-mtime? #f] [#:keep-permissions? #t] @ [#:select? (const #t)] Copy @var{source} directory to @var{destination}. Follow symlinks if @var{follow-symlinks?} is true; otherwise, just preserve them. Call @var{copy-file} to copy regular files. Call @var{select?}, taking two arguments, @var{file} and @var{stat}, for each entry in @var{source}, where @var{file} is the entry's absolute file name and @var{stat} is the result of @code{lstat} (or @code{stat} if @var{follow-symlinks?} is true); exclude entries for which @var{select?} does not return true. When @var{keep-mtime?} is true, keep the modification time of the files in @var{source} on those of @var{destination}. When @var{keep-permissions?} is true, preserve file permissions. Write verbose output to the @var{log} port.

Keep in mind that build phases are code evaluated at the time the package is actually built. This explains why the whole @code{modify-phases} expression above is quoted (it comes after the @code{#~} or hash-tilde): it is @dfn{staged} for later execution. @xref{G-Expressions}, for an explanation of code staging and the @dfn{code strata} involved.

The key @code{#:embed-files}, default is @code{'()}, provides a list of future embedded files or regexps matching files. They will be copied to build directory after @code{unpack} phase. See @url{https://pkg.go.dev/embed} for more details.

The phase @code{check} provides a wrapper for @code{go test} which builds a test binary (or multiple binaries), vets the code and then runs the test binary. Build, test and test binary flags can be provided as @code{#:test-flags} parameter, default is @code{'()}. See @code{go help test} and @code{go help testflag} for more details.
