Systems using the open-source nouveau driver will see no changes to the default behavior, because they have already been defaulting to Wayland in previous releases.

On systems where the latest nVidia proprietary graphics driver is installed (for example through RPMFusion), Wayland is now used as the default, where previously X.org was default and Wayland was an alternative. X.Org continues to be available upon login.
