@gemmaro ありがとうございます。こちらこそ、案を否定してばかりになってしまって申し訳ないです。 決定したら二度と変更できないわけではないので、とりあえず「代理生成器」とすることにします。またなにかあればコメントします。

@rocktakey ご確認いただきありがとうございます。また返信が遅れてしまい恐れ入ります。

「substituter」の訳語について承知しました。 「代理生成機/器/者」「代理生成物提供機/器/者」の案について賛成します。

その中でしいて言うと「代理生成器」が好みのように感じます。 「substitute」「substituter」は1文字分の違いのため、前者が「代理生成物」とすると後者も「代理生成○」のようにしたい気がします。 また、「substituter」は予めCIで構築したものをダウンロードしてくる仕組みのため、素朴な「器」のイメージがあります。

もし状況が大きく変わらないようでしたら、最終的なご判断をお任せします。
